Mohanlal and director Krishand are reportedly collaborating on a new film. Actor-producer Maniyanpilla Raju confirmed the project is in development. The film aims to be a commercial entertainer in the spirit of Chotta Mumbai. Niyog is currently writing the script, with the first draft ready. Mohanlal has several other projects currently in production.
