A speedboat carrying Indian tourists capsized near Vietnam’s Phu Quoc island. Fifteen Indian tourists were killed and seventeen others sustained injuries in the accident. Ten of the deceased tourists hailed from Tamil Nadu, including businessmen and cellphone company agents. Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay expressed grief and ordered officials to coordinate repatriation efforts. Political leaders across Tamil Nadu offered condolences to the bereaved families.
