Mission Green Monsoon saw citizens plant six thousand saplings across Nashik city. Two thousand six hundred saplings were planted at Nashik Vanrai’s Peacock Garden. Another three thousand four hundred saplings were planted at Grape County Resort. Minister Girish Mahajan stressed afforestation’s importance for climate change mitigation. The campaign continues until October twenty-fifth with weekly plantation drives.
