A BJP leader has accused TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee of involvement in an illegal soil extraction and pilferage racket in South 24 Parganas. This follows a previous complaint alleging Banerjee misappropriated Rs 250 crore from Cyclone Amphan relief funds. Police are examining the new allegations, with the complainant vowing to file further corruption charges.
