A backpacking trip to India in 2007 led to a decade-long health ordeal for Lowri Denman. Initially dismissed as a simple tapeworm, the infection secretly spread, lodging 38 larvae in her brain. This resulted in severe headaches, seizures, and a descent into anxiety and psychosis. After extensive treatment and a stay in a neuropsychiatric ward, Lowri is now stable and sharing her story to help others.
