The Detroit Pistons have agreed to sign free agent forward John Collins to a three-year, $51 million contract, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania. Collins, who averaged 13.6 points and 5.3 rebounds last season with the Los Angeles Clippers, gives Detroit a frontcourt scorer and lob threat for Cade Cunningham as longtime forward Tobias Harris looks increasingly likely to leave in free agency.
