A series of student suicides, including a 19-year-old in Coimbatore, have followed the cancellation of NEET-UG 2026 due to a paper leak. At least 10 aspirants have died by suicide, with families citing exam-related anxiety, pressure, and distress over rescheduling as contributing factors. The re-examination is scheduled for June 21.
