Gunmen attacked a Kuki village in Manipur’s Kamjong district, killing two church functionaries and torching a church and houses. This violence is feared to be linked to the recent discovery of mutilated bodies of six Naga men held hostage. The attack follows a cycle of abductions and killings between rival communities.
