Mechanically, no changes are expected. The new Tayron variant is likely to use the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing 204hp (around 201bhp) and 320Nm of torque. The engine will continue to be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, with power sent to all four wheels through Volkswagen’s AWD system.
