The Kannada film industry is in mourning following the passing of Jayamma Chinnegowda, mother of actors Vijay Raghavendra and Sriimurali. She died on June 16 due to age-related health issues. A film producer herself, Jayamma was a respected figure in Sandalwood and part of a prominent film family with ties to the legendary Dr. Rajkumar.
