The Athletic’s internal investigation into former NFL insider Dianna Russini’s journalism is still ongoing more than two months after it began, according to Front Office Sports reporter Michael McCarthy. The probe started after photos surfaced showing Russini with Patriots coach Mike Vrabel at an Arizona resort, leading to her resignation in April. Editors say the review is limited to her reporting, not her personal conduct, and could still take additional weeks to complete.
