Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (TNERC) faces a complete leadership vacuum as Chairman R Manivannan resigned on Friday, following two vacant member posts. Director (engineering) John Sundararaj also stepped down. This comes after other high-profile officers, including retired IPS officers, left key state positions. The government is expected to form a search committee to fill the vacant roles.
