CHANDIGARH: (Sep 17) Several Punjab BJP leaders extended greetings to Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday, with the party’s state unit chief Sunil Jakhar saying the prime minister has taken revolutionary steps for the progress of every section.

In a post on X, Jakhar said, “His (Modi) visionary thinking has given global recognition to India’s spiritual and cultural heritage, and the country is scaling new heights of progress. May God grant you excellent health and a long life.”

PM Modi turned 75 on Wednesday. The BJP has launched a fortnight-long “Sewa Pakhwada” to mark his birthday.
