Pathankot is bolstering security for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, commencing July 3. Intensified flag marches, vehicle checks, and round-the-clock patrols are underway across the district, a sensitive area bordering Jammu and Kashmir and near the international border. Security forces, in coordination with the Army and BSF, are focused on ensuring the safe passage of pilgrims and maintaining law and order, urging public vigilance against suspicious activities.
