In contrast, Bengaluru proudly lists 2,200 certified establishments, while Delhi leads with 3,394. Officials attribute Hyderabad’s low figure of just 361 certified locales to a lack of mandatory requirements and a tepid response from hotel operators, despite efforts to promote better hygiene practices.
