A fierce territorial battle has left Kheoni Wildlife Sanctuary’s alpha male tiger, Yuvraj, severely injured and dethroned by a younger rival. The 11-year-old patriarch sustained deep paw wounds, necessitating a challenging, elephant-free ground rescue. Yuvraj has been moved to Bhopal for advanced treatment, marking a significant event in the sanctuary’s history, which he helped transform into a thriving tiger habitat.
