In a shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli district, a groom and his maternal uncle were arrested for allegedly serving beef at a wedding reception. Police have booked the groom, his uncle, and the banquet hall owner under the Cow Slaughter Act. The meat, reportedly transported in a wedding gift SUV, was seized along with the vehicle.
