A massive fire engulfed a container truck laden with electronic goods worth approximately Rs 9 crore on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway near Palghar late Tuesday night. The blaze, which broke out around 9:30 PM, caused significant traffic disruption for over two hours. Fortunately, the driver and cleaner escaped unharmed. Firefighters battled the flames, preventing further spread, though the cargo was completely destroyed. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
