Connor McDavid won his fifth Ted Lindsay Award, tying Wayne Gretzky’s all-time record, in a surprise reveal organized by his wife, Lauren Kyle, during what he thought was a routine golf outing at Magna Golf Club. Family and childhood friends arrived by golf cart to deliver the trophy, and McDavid later called the peer-voted honor deeply meaningful. The award followed a league-leading 138-point season that also brought him his sixth Art Ross Trophy.
