Wimbledon has followed a strict no-dogs policy for nearly 150 years. The rule applies to players, spectators, and visitors. However, there are two important exceptions. Officially trained service dogs, including guide dogs, hearing dogs, mobility assistance dogs, seizure response dogs, and autism support dogs, are allowed to enter. Security and search dogs working with tournament staff are also permitted on the grounds during the event.
