IIT Guwahati conducted its 28th Convocation Ceremony, awarding degrees to 2,265 students across undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and research programmes. Saptarshi Mukherjee received the President of India Gold Medal, while three other students were honoured with gold medals for academic and overall achievements. The institute highlighted its research output, innovation initiatives, industry collaborations and startup ecosystem. IIT Guwahati also announced developments in AI, robotics, defence research and global academic partnerships.
