A brief disruption hit Central Railway on Sunday afternoon when a freight train’s locomotive encountered a technical issue between Vasind and Asangaon stations at 2:42 pm. This caused delays and interruptions for various trains. Thanks to the quick action of the railway crew, the engine was restored and back on track by 3:22 pm, allowing the freight train to proceed shortly after.
