40 students at a Nandurbar hostel fell ill after consuming their evening meal. 25 children were hospitalized with food poisoning and gastritis symptoms. Food and vomit samples were collected for laboratory analysis to determine the cause. Authorities are investigating the hostel’s functioning and fixing accountability for negligence. Most affected students are expected to be discharged soon after treatment.
