Three young men from Rohtak died in a police encounter after accompanying a known criminal. One was an aspiring javelin thrower, another a daily-wage labourer, and the third a new shop owner. Their families believed they were engaged in legitimate activities like school or work. Police records indicate one of the deceased youths had prior criminal cases against him.
