Despite a massive Rs 200 crore budget and a star-studded cast including Mohanlal, Prabhas, and Akshay Kumar, Vishnu Manchu’s mythological film ‘Kannappa’ has landed on YouTube for free viewing after a disappointing theatrical run. The film, based on the legendary tale of a devoted Shiva follower, was released in multiple languages. It even saw a re-release before its digital debut, failing to recoup its investment.
