The first free practice session, FP1, was held as scheduled at the Shanghai E-Prix, though the upcoming Round 12 and Round 13 races have been rescheduled. Porsche driver Pascal Wehrlein topped FP1, while his teammate Nico Muller finished third. Due to a thunderstorm warning, the races scheduled for Saturday and Sunday have been rescheduled.
