A Gujarat advocate’s bid for bail was rejected by the High Court after being accused of masterminding a fraudulent sale of agricultural land. The court found he orchestrated the entire conspiracy, impersonating the owner and forging documents to facilitate the Rs 49 lakh sale. He allegedly benefited financially from the scheme, leading the court to believe he posed a risk of tampering with evidence if released.
