Pritam has stepped away from The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, prompting the makers to bring Amit Trivedi on board as the composer for the upcoming two-part historical saga. Pritam had earlier announced a break from mainstream music, citing a desire to “live life differently” and explore “roads unexplored.” Amit Trivedi now takes over the project directed by Sandeep Singh, starring Rishab Shetty as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. A source close to the production says his musical style aligns with the film’s vision of capturing the Maratha warrior’s courage and legacy. The film also features Arjun Rampal and Vivek Oberoi.
