Filmed during monsoon, Shaan’s tribute celebrated the iconic composer’s revolutionary blend of Indian and Western music. ‘Rimjhim Gire Saawan’, from the 1979 film ‘Manzil’, remains a beloved monsoon melody, immortalized by Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar. Burman, son of S.D. Burman, composed for over 300 films.
