India is launching a new hub-and-spoke model to allow seamless international travel from domestic airports, bypassing foreign transit points. This initiative aims to keep Indian travelers on Indian carriers, like Air India, IndiGo, and Akasa, by connecting them through Indian hubs. Air India has already begun ‘easy connect’ flights from Varanasi, with plans to expand to ten more cities, significantly enhancing convenience for millions of Indian globetrotters and the diaspora.
