The UFC has built a reputation for linking major events with important cultural and national celebrations. In recent years, the promotion launched Noche UFC to honor Mexican Independence Day and recently staged UFC Freedom 250 ahead of the United States’ 250th birthday celebrations. Despite hosting several themed events, one type of celebration has never appeared on the UFC calendar, the Pride Night.
