A family in Mysuru district tragically died by suicide ahead of their daughter’s wedding, reportedly due to harassment by a local youth. The deceased, a couple and their younger daughter, were allegedly targeted after the daughter rejected the youth’s advances. The youth reportedly sent morphed photos to the daughter’s fiancé, leading to the family’s extreme step fearing social stigma. Villagers are demanding the accused’s arrest.
