Former Rajasthan opener Vineet Saxena has been appointed head coach of the Himachal Pradesh senior men’s cricket team for the 2026-27 season. The 45-year-old, who boasts over 7,600 First Class runs, also takes charge of ‘Team 3’ for the upcoming BCCI Emerging Men’s Tournament. Saxena expressed excitement about guiding Himachal through its transition phase and building a strong unit.
