The Edmonton Oilers are not expected to retain veteran forward Adam Henrique following a disappointing 2024-25 season in which he scored just three goals in 65 games. With the Oilers eliminated in the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs by Anaheim, GM Stan Bowman is rebuilding the roster, which includes firing head coach Kris Knoblauch and potentially hiring Mike Babcock. Henrique, who refused to waive his no-trade clause at the deadline, recently completed a two-year, $6 million deal. The 34-year-old now heads to free agency after 1,058 NHL games and 572 career points.
