Himansh Kohli is stepping away from the “chocolate boy” image associated with him since Yaariyan to headline Aryabhatt Ka Zero, a film centred on a man battling social prejudice, personal setbacks and the quest for dignity. Calling it a role that could change perceptions about him as an actor, Himansh says the part pushed him out of his comfort zone and required a complete physical and psychological transformation. He also found the character’s emotional restraint challenging, describing it as one of the most demanding experiences of his career. The actor credits director Kamal Chandra for helping him stay truthful to the role.
