The National Medical Commission (NMC) has directed all medical colleges to remain vigilant and sensitise students ahead of the NEET-UG 2026 Re-Examination on June 21. Citing past instances where medical students were allegedly involved in activities that could compromise examination integrity, the Commission has advised institutions not to grant leave on June 20 and 21 except in exceptional cases. The move aims to safeguard the fairness, transparency and credibility of the examination process.
