Kern’s family has stated they do not suspect foul play, drugs, or alcohol contributed to her death, which was described as the result of unexpected health complications. Jones is engaged to Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton, a two-time NBA All-Star who proposed in July 2025 after a season cut short by a torn Achilles.
