IIT Madras has unveiled ANCHOR, the world’s most detailed 3D atlas of the human brainstem, developed by its Sudha Gopalakrishnan Brain Centre. This comprehensive, multi-modal atlas maps over 200 brainstem nuclei and fiber tracts from prenatal to adult stages, integrating MRI, histology, and chemo-architecture for critical clinical applications.
